In 1990 the U.S. Deep Caving Team, Inc. was incorporated as a 501(c3) non-profit scientific and educational organization under the Internal Revenue Service provisions.  In 1995 the USDCT successfully completed the four-year public support probationary period and was granted permanent 501(c3) status.  Contributions from the general public are solicited and are tax deductible.
